Project Runway

I think I just watched the best episode ever on Project Runway.

It's not that the designs were out of this world, it's that Tim Gunn finally called someone out on their b!tchy behavior. Sorry Gretchen, he's right. Your collection was ugly and everyone on your team is stupid to think that you were right.

This is why I love Tim Gunn. He calls 'em like he sees 'em. Bravo Tim Gunn, bravo!

What I Get to Look Forward to Everyday

I know what you are thinking, what's with all the posts.
But I wanted to let you know what I get to look forward to everyday I go to work at Brisbane, CA.

Brisbane, CA - headquarters of Bebe, Inc.
I love Brisbane!
I feel safe with Brisbane Police because they watched me as I almost made an illegal u-turn but then made a wide left turn. Ha - got you!

There are delicious sandwiches at Julie's and lotto tickets. Those are key because they may make me a millionaire one day.

Get historic and lumpia at the 7 Mile House.

And don't forget bebe! That's what I look forward to most!

I couldn't just leave you with the office butt imagery in your head. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoy Brisbane, CA! :D

Office Butt

So I am making two resolutions today.

1) I will eat fast food a maximum once every two weeks.

2) I will start exercising more....let's start with once a week as I do about 0 times a month right now.

I am trying to avoid this

This is called Office Butt. It's where all you do is eat and snack and sit in your chair all day long.

Since your butt is getting bigger and bigger and has no where to go, it only gets wider and wider. It's a wonky smooshed up wide butt that starts running into your thighs. And it's only when your pants do not fit past your thighs, do you realize it may be time to diet and exercise.

I am not dieting, I am just not trying to consume the McD's, Wendy's and KFC Tacobell that surrounds me on a daily basis.

I am trying to exercise so I don't feel winded after climbing a flight of stairs or feel my gut start to pour over my pants.

I want to feel healthier, I want to be more active. I don't want to be a log on a couch....if there was a real couch to speak of.

Anyways, here's to me trying to commit to something other than TV.
Cheers.

Check it out!

Thanks to Kevmo!

Korean Girls

Monobot sent me links to two articles regarding Korean girls, rather stereotypes of Korean girls.

I fit the angry stereotype but not the high maintenance, only into fashion labels, and extremely vain stereotypes. Thank goodness.

http://youoffendmeyouoffendmyfamily.com/how-to-survive-a-date-with-a-korean-american-woman/ (especially like the part of Korean girls able to handle themselves against their gangster boyfriends)

All I have to say is, except for the three Korean girls I know, they are highly overrated.

TV!!!!!!

Recently, Yap was considering buying a TV from Costco.

They had a great deal on a 46" Sony Bravia, $800!

He told me he was going to just look at it as he didn't think he would be able to transport it home.

When he came back from Costco, I came down to meet him and Jon to see what they brought home for dinner.

I saw a big slim box with a big picture of a Sony Bravia TV! I hugged the TV because I was so happy. Then, I hugged Yap.

Oh TV, how I love thee.

Thanks YAP!

Great Dating Tip from Roger Ebert

Roger Ebert on the movie Valentine's Day

Roger Ebert gives the film two out of four stars; however one of his lines points to deeper dislike: "I think it's more of a First-Date Movie. If your date likes it, do not date that person again."

Holidays 2009 Pic Recap

Yap and I have been in Toronto for the holidays. I actually spent Christmas with my family but immediately flew out afterwards. Here's a highlight of the holidays spent in Toronto (rather a suburb of Toronto).

FYI - the amount of games played is not accurately represented in the pictures. Nor is the amount of food consumed over the course of a week. These two things alone would constitute most of the pictures.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

New Year - Time to clean

It's a new year and a new decade folks. Most people find its time to clean out the old and move on with the new.

So this blog entry is dedicated to cleaning.

I was at Yap's aunt's new condo and she had one of my favorite cleaning supplies, Swiffer Vac.

It's basically a Swiffer attached to a mini vac.

PROS
This is great for cleaning kitchen floors, hardwood floors, and bathroom floors. Basically, this is great to clean any hard surface floors.

The Swiffer Vac has a swivel head making it easy to go around corners when cleaning.
It picks up almost anything as long as it fits.

CONS

To note, its good for light cleaning. If you need to do some deep cleaning, you will need to get out your serious cleaning supplies. That's why its good to keep up with your cleaning so you don't have to do major cleaning.

Also, it is on a rechargeable battery. The battery does not last too long. So if you have a big house, you need to do it in sections. This is the thing I really dislike about the Swiffer Vac. Even if you put it on the wall charge and try to vaccuum it will not work well until you have charged it up.

I highly recommend this for your place if you have a lot of hard floors to clean.
