Toots

My little furball kept me company on Sunday, and it was nice to have him sitting next to me while I was on the comp just writing some emails. I took I think 50 pictures of him on my phone while he was curled up on the bed.

The best thing about going home, besides seeing the family, is seeing his head peer over the frame, keeping him in the kitchen. His tail wags furiously back and forth where he hops up and down until you come in the kitchen and he runs around because he is so excited to see you. I wish all people were that happy to see you....everyday, haha. He is my one true love.

Anyways, tootles for now.

Eye Gazing: NY New Dating Trend

So, my co-worker comes up to me and another co-worker, and asked us if we heard about the Eye Gazing Party that is going to happen in SF at the Temple Night Club.

Apparently, "Eye Gazing" has become the new dating trend in New York and has already sold out two Eye Gazing parties in SF. A variety of news sources have reported on this trend that has taken over metropolitan cities (But apparently not Wikipedia, if you look it up, all you get is star gazing).

Anyways, so straight off the website here is the idea:

"An even number of singles meet in an attractive space over drinks and world beats.

After a fun mini-lesson in the art of eye contact, the group splits into pairs, and each pair spends two minutes looking into each other's eyes, no talking, just soaking in each other's essence through the windows to their soul.
The pairs switch up every two minutes, for a total of 20 gazes during the evening with ample mingling time between the gazing sessions.
There is a party afterward, with drinks flowing and luscious beats pulsating in the background.
"

I...don't....know....what to even say. But I was immediately attracted to the idea of doing this under cover expose. I mean who are the people who go to these parties? How does one not laugh trying to hold a straight gaze for two minutes for twenty times during the night? And can you really make a connection off of a gaze?

Usually when I go out for a night out, I usually find it's Mr. Creepy McCreep giving me the creepy stare. Once I catch his gaze, I am trying like all hell to look at anything else, anything else but that creepy stare.

Also, the fact is I don't like it when I am stared at, which is why public speaking has been one of my weaker attributes.

Anyways, to get back to the topic. Here is the link to the website: http://www.eyegazingparties.com/index.html

Maybe if they didn't have cameras that are going to broadcast this over international stations, then I would go and do my dream expose. However, I am quite the camera shy gal and would like to remain semi-anonymous in my quest to find out if Eye Gazing is the real deal.

All I have to add is (not to be mean but) look at the guy who created this and tell me he doesn't look a bit creepy?
